19th ICOMS Awards Competition

The 19th ICOMS/(Sponsors) Awards Competition is designed to provide an opportunity for the best junior investigators of IAOMS to present their research at the 19th ICOMS. There will be 2 awards:
1. Best Poster Award
2. Best Oral Presentation Award

Best Oral Presentation Competition:
The Best Oral Presentation Competition will take place of a specifically identified free paper session. Candidates who wish to enter the competition should be under 35 years of age and should inform the secretariat upon the registration and submission of their abstracts online.

Best Poster Competition:
The best poster competition will take place at Exhibition Hall and all accepted posters will be automatically entered into the competition.

Judging Criteria:
In judging, IAOMS Education/Research Committee members will be selected for the task and asked to submit their score cards to a committee composed of the three ICOMS chairmen and the Chief Editor of International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (IJOMS).

The following will be considered:
1. Originality and design of the investigation;
2. Quality of the data produced;
3. Suitability of the methods of analysis used;
4. Scientific value of the work;
5. Quality of the oral presentation will be considered in Best Oral Presentation Competition;
